PGA WEST STADIUM

Pete Dye at PGA West Blvd., La Quinta, CA

One –sixth of the PGA West® master-planned golfing community of La Quinta, The Stadium community is home to the famous Pete Dye designed Stadium course. Separated from the other PGA West® enclaves by a private gated entrance, residents enjoy a multitude of amenities such as various swimming pools and spas, tennis center, and clubhouse facilities.

A blend of single-family homes and condos decorate the internationally known course as it weaves its path throughout the neighborhood. Golf course condos were constructed from 1986 through 1990 with styles offering approximately 1,288 to 3,485 square feet.

The 18-hole, par 72, Stadium course opened in 1986 and is rated amongst the ‘Top 100 Courses in the World” by Golf Magazine. In 2007, Stadium was also given the ranking of 4th toughest in Golf Digest’s list of “Top 50 Toughest Courses in America.” This course also hosts the PGA Tour’s “Q-School” Finals every other year. The 17th par-3 hole, the most difficult is an island green called Alcatraz, that challenges PGA Tour contestants. Yet with five sets of tees, all skill levels will enjoy the semi-private Stadium course.
